I have been a Charlotte Tilbury fanatic for almost a year now after trying her Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder. I am still loving the powder, and I have since then added some new items to my Charlotte Tilbury collection: the Airbrush Flawless Longwear Foundation, Beauty Light Wand in Pinkgasm, and the Matte & Metallic Double Ended Eyeliner from the Eye Color Magic Collection. Here’s another Charlotte Tilbury review coming from a (MAC) NC 42 (NC 44 in the summer) girl.
Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Longwear Foundation
I’m going to cut straight to the point and let you know that the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Longwear Foundation is THAT GIRL. The setting powder took my breath away, but it still didn’t prepare me for the foundation. I got the shade 10 neutral which is actually a tad too dark for me and can lean orange if I’m not careful. I wore the foundation all over my face during the summer, but during autumn and winter, I’ve been mixing it with a lighter shade of the Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint and topping it with the Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder. I get compliments every single time I wear this foundation, and it was my little secret for flawless skin… until now.
It’s a full coverage, matte finish foundation with ingredients that hydrate the skin and reduce the appearance of wrinkles, although I’ve seen reviews saying that the product settles into wrinkles over time. The formula is vegan and cruelty-free. After wearing the foundation all day, it does feel like there’s a light film on my skin, but I don’t even care – the formula is just too good! The product retails for $44 USD on the Sephora and Charlotte Tilbury websites.
Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Light Wand in Pinkgasm
TikTok got me into Charlotte Tilbury after I tried Pillow Talk and nearly gave up on the brand, so you know I had to grab the Beauty Light Wand in the shade ‘pinkgasm’ when it blew up on the app. Everyone looked so glowy from within and liquid blush is having a moment. I’m so glad I tried it! If you see me with a pinky glow, it’s definitely the Beauty Light Wand in Pinkgasm.
The Beauty Light Wand is technically marketed as a highlighter, but I wear the pinkgasm shade as a shimmery blush. The product contains silica and oils, and the formula is once again vegan and cruelty-free. I typically put a couple of dots on each cheek and my nose, then stipple and blend it onto my face. The only con to the Beauty Light Wand is the tube/applicator; it feels like you aren’t getting a whole lot of product, and if you’re not careful squeezing the product out, things can get messy or you can end up wasting product. It’s also important to note that there are ‘on’ and ‘off’ markers so you can stop the flow of product out of the tube. The Beauty Light Wand retails for $40 USD and is currently only in stock on the Charlotte Tilbury website.
Charlotte Tilbury Matte & Metallic Double Ended Eyeliner
Yet another thing that TikTok made me buy is the Charlotte Tilbury Matte & Metallic Double Ended Eyeliner in metallic champagne and matte black. I saw that the champagne side really made the waterline pop, and the matte black end was just a bonus for me. I always pack this pencil with me when traveling. I haven’t had any issues with application on my waterline or eyelid, but I tend to put powder on my eyelids if I’m not using eyeshadow and shadow primer. Oily lids typically aren’t an issue for me. While I do love the convenience of the pencil and haven’t experienced any issues with it, I’m sure you can get a drugstore version for way less with the same result. The pencil retails for $32.
TL;DR Charlotte Tilbury Review
In summary, the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Longwear Foundation and Beauty Light Wand in pinkgasm are must-buys; the Matte & Metallic Double Ended Eyeliner works well for me but you can definitely find a less expensive pencil that does the same job. Charlotte Tilbury is one of my favorite makeup brands and their formulas are vegan and cruelty-free. I usually prefer ordering directly from the Charlotte Tilbury website because of the bundles that they package their bestselling products into and the ability to get samples and free shipping. I actually have the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray on its way to me as I write this post, LOL.
I’d definitely recommend Charlotte Tilbury products to anyone in the same shade range as me. Let me know your favorite Charlotte Tilbury products below, or any recommendations as to what I should try next!
