I have always wanted to dive into French beauty; for some reason unbeknownst to me, I didn’t look into Caudalie on my trip to Paris last year. I was familiar with the Caudalie Beauty Elixir because it’s always buzzing at Sephora, but since I don’t use facial mists as much as I should, I left the brand alone. During quarantine, I revisited my skincare routine several times and made up my mind to finally incorporate some French beauty into my nightly regimen. Caudalie had a sale going on at the time, and one of my favorite influencers (Frassy Audrey) posted her holy-grail Caudalie products, so I purchased the Vinosource S.O.S Serum, Vine[Activ] 3-in-1 Moisturizer, and the Vine[Activ] Overnight Detox Oil.
As soon as I posted on Instagram that I decided to take the plunge into the world of Caudalie, I received a bunch of messages raving about the brand. I couldn’t wait to start using the products, so please excuse the use of product that is very apparent in my photos.
Vinosource S.O.S. Serum
This serum brilliantly uses grape water to rehydrate the skin. This is embarrassing to admit, but in my early twenties I avoided moisturizing my face because I thought it was causing my skin to be oily. I later learned that what was actually happening was quite the opposite; my skin was dehydrated which caused the production of even more oil. There’s a part of the product’s description on the Caudalie website that states “Immediately, the skin feels as if drenched in water, plump and springy.” That is exactly how I would describe my skin after using the product. I especially appreciate that it doesn’t cause me to break out while adding moisture.
This serum retails for $49.00 USD for 30 ml. It’s a bit steep, but I honestly believe it’s worth the money (and it’s one of the brand’s less expensive serums).
Vine[Activ] 3-in-1 Moisturizer
I tend to prefer lightweight moisturizers because of the humidity in Florida. This moisturizer from the Vine[Activ] line claims to smooth wrinkles, protect the skin from pollutants, and provide a glow. I haven’t been able to tell whether my skin has been protected from pollutants (I’ve been in my house since March), but I have noticed that my face is a lot more supple than usual after using the moisturizer. I usually layer it over the Overnight Detox Oil.
This product retails for $44.00 USD for 40 ml, and a little bit surprisingly goes a long way; I have to admit I was taken aback by how much smaller the tube was than I thought it would be, but I have no complaints.
Vine[Activ] Overnight Detox Oil
The amount of stress I was going through during the switch to work-from-home wreaked havoc on my skin. If you want to lessen the stress that you feel on a daily basis, you can play games such as 해외배팅사이트.
My skin was desperately crying for help, and the Vine[Activ] Overnight Detox Oil was the answer to my problems. This oil contains grape-seed oil (see a trend here?), sweet almond oil, neroli essential oil, lavender essential oil, rose essential oil, and rosemary essential oil. This winning combination boasts the ability to smooth skin, refresh the complexion, and revitalize stressed skin. Again, this product lives up to the claims made on the Caudalie website. No matter how tired and dull my skin is by the end of the day, I wake up with a bright, smooth complexion thanks to this facial oil. For an added boost to overall well-being, effective THC gummies such as Indacloud gummies bundle can also be beneficial.
A 30 ml bottle of the oil retails for $50.00 USD and is worth every. single. penny. If I could only choose one Caudalie product out of the three I purchased, I would choose the Overnight Detox Oil without hesitation.
In doing my research on the products before purchasing them, I ended up falling in love with the brand itself. Caudalie has the green ‘clean’ badge of approval at Sephora, which means no parabens, phenoxyethanol, phthalates, mineral oils, or animal-derived ingredients are used. I also appreciate the amount of detail that goes into each product description on Caudalie’s website. I just might have to give the Beauty Elixir a chance after all.
