Last week, I had the pleasure of attending ‘Influencer Day’ at Hand and Stone Downtown Orlando. (Disclaimer: Although my services were c/o the business, all opinions are 100% my own.) We were offered either a massage or a facial, and since I’ve been dealing with back pain for the past four years, I took the massage without hesitation.
From the moment I walked into the building, before I got a chance to introduce myself or check-in for the event, I was greeted with smiling faces. First impressions are so important in a wellness setting, so it eased my mind to know I would be well taken care of. The waiting area is a very calm, relaxing shade of blue, which made filling out paperwork a breeze.
I opted for a hot stone massage (which is a $20 add-on), because I work on a computer for usually twelve hours at a time. For the past few months, I’ve been experiencing extreme pain in my shoulders and back, since the chairs at work have absolutely no support. I even bought a lumbar support pillow for my chair, which only provides temporary relief.
The full body, hot stone massage lasted for about an hour, and it was such a relief to have my problem areas worked out. I was sore the day after the massage, but the soreness went away fairly quickly. My back felt so much better once I returned to work, although I know I’ll face the same problem again in a couple of months.
The good news is there’s a membership option available to get a massage or facial peel per month. Other good news: Hand and Stone is open 7 days a week until 10 PM, and walk-ins are welcome.
I can’t speak for everyone as we all have different needs and have medical issues, but my massage made all the difference for me. I also heard good things about Hand and Stone’s facials from the influencers that opted for facials that day. There are various types of facials with a number of add-ons available.
All in all, I had a great experience. I felt like my needs were met, the staff were friendly, and the place was clean and relaxing. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
