I love all things sparkly and have been wanting a pair of sparkly heels that would last a long time for a couple of years now. During lockdown in 2020, the Mach & Mach Crystal Double Bow Pump popped up on the scene and quickly became one an ‘it girl’ heel. Mach & Mach is still in their moment to this day.
I went back and forth so many times to try and decide whether or not the Mach & Mach Crystal Double Bow Pump was worth the sacrifice, and eventually, that decision was yes. I purchased the Mach & Mach Crystal Double Bow Pump in pink (110 mm heel) just in time for my birthday this year. I watched a handful of reviews on YouTube before making my decision.
Mach & Mach Crystal Double Bow Pump Price & Sizing
The pump retails on Nordstrom for $1,095 USD at the time of this post; I have seen the Mach & Mach Crystal Double Bow Pump on third-party websites, but Nordstrom is the only retailer that offered my size. As with other designer shoes, I ordered a size EU 42 which translates to a US 12 (and perfectly fits my *technically* size US 11 feet). The pump fits my foot perfectly without spillage in the back. I personally would avoid the PVC styles as it’s not the most flattering material on feet (especially in Florida) and I would likely need to size up, which isn’t possible. lol. The pink color is stunning with the crystals irl. I have a pair of dupes that are cute but not as magnificent as the Mach & Mach Crystal Double Bow Pumps are.
Mach & Mach Crystal Double Bow Pump First Impression & Final Thoughts
When I opened the Mach & Mach box, I dropped my jaw in awe of how sparkly and glorious the Mach & Mach Crystal Double Bow Pumps are. There was a note inside the box to take care while walking in the shoes as stones may fall off, with a handful of replacement stones. I’ve already lost a stone while wearing the heels for a couple of hours with minimal walking which is slightly disappointing given the price point.
The Mach & Mach Crystal Double Bow Pump with the 110 mm heel is definitely a dinner heel that you can only wear when you’re being dropped off and picked up in front of the restaurant. I’m not sure if it’ll get more comfortable as I wear them more, but I was definitely feeling sore the day after I debuted the pumps. Despite some of the drawbacks, the Mach & Mach pumps are like a work of art… too beautiful not to get if you have the opportunity. Also, I’m not sure if it’s just me, but I felt like my feet looked smaller than usual in the pumps!
Overall, here are my pros and cons:
Pros: gorgeous heel, look as extravagant as I’d expect them to
Cons: price point, questionable craftsmanship, not comfortable
