The second day of my Chicago weekend started off with brunch at The Langham, which is one of my new favorite hotels. The inside of the hotel is so visually stunning, and includes some of the best views of the city (which I unfortunately didn’t catch because it was cloudy while we were brunching).
I wore the In Knit to Win It Midi dress from Naked Wardrobe; it’s a very comfortable lightweight ribbed knit dress that goes with just about any and everything. My only complaint is that the straps are very thin and have a tendency to fall down – I’ve tried tightening them and it did nothing. I might just have the straps taken up by my mom. I went for a monochromatic look with the Forever 21 Belted Drapey Cape Jacket. It fits like a dream, is the perfect summer jacket, and the best part is that you can roll the sleeves down at night. My bag and shoes are both from the recent Zara sale, and my necklace is the Facets Layered Necklace from Baublebar.
As for brunch itself, my friends and I ate at Travelle at the Langham. I had the Power Egg White Scramble with a mimosa, and it was amazing! I think a meal at the Langham (or even better, their afternoon tea) is something to definitely do while you’re in Chicago.
Stay tuned for my next post on the main reason why I went to Chicago 😉
